Picking Up The Camaro – a video

by Miss Britt on July 8, 2010

So, this is what I did this morning:

Miss Britt Becomes A Chevy “Girl on the Go” from MissBritt on Vimeo.

We need to come up with some kind of easy disclaimer for these posts that says “yes, we know, blah blah blah relationship with Chevy blah blah blah disclosure FTC blah.” I get to drive a test car for a month and in exchange I have to talk about it. Someone make that into a neat and tidy copy and paste-able disclaimer for me, ok?

OH! AND! They gave me something today that I already have and so I’m going to give it to one of you! But not today, because it’s late and I’m tired. But soon!

Well I was envious as well until I saw the color. And then I was all “hokay you go do that then lol.” Yes that was a lol. What? :-)

When are you going to drive it to our house? Or to my hockey games? ;)

I’m green with envy. Or maybe it’s just the reflection from standing next to that awesome car.

Awesome car! You are very lucky. I hope you and your family enjoy it!

This totally reminds me of when I was given a Porsche to drive for a year just because I was cute and had fabulous hair.

    Oh. Wait. That didn’t happen.

    Enjoy the month!

I so hope they include the “Holy Crap!” in a commercial somewhere. :D

    It really is “you.”

    Your disclaimer:

Chevy has provided me with a vehicle to use for (one month?), during which time I will post about my experience.

    Or something.

You are so adorable. I’m not a fan of green but that car is COOL. I have a feeling you’ll be doing a lot of driving this month. Road trip!

  14. Sheila July 9, 2010 10:26 am

I *love* that car….that is my absolute favorite color for a vehicle in the entire world. Except, in my dreams, it’s a mustang but ya know, a Camaro would suffice.

In case you didn’t know, “ground effects thingie” means “PLEASE BE CAREFUL PULLING INTO YOUR DRIVEWAY AND ANY OTHER SOMEWHAT STEEP PARKING LOTS BECAUSE OTHERWISE YOUR HUSBAND WILL GASP IN HORROR AT THE CRACKING SOUND IT MAKES AS IT SCRAPES ALONG THE PAVEMENT”.

And yes, totally personal experience there.

    Sexy.

What happens if you’re in an accident? Does it have rental insurance, or is that on you?

Not that I think you’re gonna wreck it as soon as you get it… ahem.

OMG, that’s awesome. I was a part of Girlfriend Getaway Houston, but we drove Malibu’s for a month. I wanna test drive a Camaro!!!

Have fun with it. And I totally know what you’re going to give away!

  17. Kellee July 9, 2010 5:48 pm

    I love the green. :)

And I think you looked adorable! :)

  18. Jamie July 10, 2010 12:59 pm

Wow. I’m still reeling from the fact that you walked backwards ad insane distance and didn’t trip. That must have been some test by Chevy. If anyone had the coordination to do that ~ we could trust them (and our insurance) with the car. The color is cool. I’ll definitely be able to look for you when in Orlando. If you see a strange woman in a beat up Suburban waving at you ….

Seems like the perfect time for you to drive the nearly 2 hours to my house in Sarasota. And, you know, I’m sure I could think of a home improvement project we could work on as an excuse for the drive. You’re going to need to know how it handles for long drives on highways and stuff, right?

Your reaction was hilarious. The car? Bitchin’.
