No News is No News

I did not go to the doctor yesterday.

The blood work I had done the day before isn’t going to be back until next week.  So, I rescheduled my appointment for next Friday.

As much as I want answers and solutions right now – I have to suck it up and act like an adult and realize that this might not be something that just goes away by someone in a white coat waving a magic wand.  And it might be something as simple as “drink more water and get some exercise.”  Such is life.

In other words, there’s nothing to tell right now.

My dad, stepmom, little sister and favorite aunt are coming Sunday and will be staying with us through Thursday.  I’m so excited to see them.  It’s going to be a short visit and I’ll be working every day that they’re here – but it’s still amazing to have family around for a little while.

Aaaaand, that’s it.

Have a great weekend. :-)

OK. Hang tough. Don’t get anxious — it won’t do you any good anyway. Just enjoy your family, and have a wonderful few days with them. And have a terrific weekend too.

I hope, for your sake, that it really is a thyroid problem. When I was having what felt like bizarre medical things, I finally just said “I don’t care what it takes, I don’t care how many different meds I need, I just want to be FIXED. I’m not looking for a magic pill…”

After being diagnosed hypothyroid, my doc prescribed me a magic pill.

    Heh.

In the meantime, though, try to make a list of *everything* that’s outside of the norm, even little things that seem like they might not matter, because you’ll find that they do. I mean, I’ve always (for example) had a low temperature and bruise fairly easily, but it’s been like that my entire life, so I didn’t think to mention it until it was actually on an intake form. Try to be as aware as possible of your body and what might not be “right”. You never know what minor thing might be the very symptom that gets you a correct diagnosis.

Hope they find out what’s going on for you!

We’re waiting on results for my son concerning if he has Celiac’s or not, like Mo and I. I am hoping not.
