You don’t know that I eat my french fries with mustard. Or that I get twitchy if I go more than a few days without reading something. Or that I hate all hot beverages with the exception of hot chocolate.

I too hate recapping, and frequently respond with “fine” knowing that the person on the other end is likely to become agitated and annoyed that I did not actually answer their question. However, as the saying goes “paybacks are a bitch” and generally speaking they annoyed and or aggrivated me when they asked a mundane question like “how was your day?” which makes me feel like I’m Timmy on the TV show Lassie.
