The Eagle has landed.
Or rather, the first Eagle in a series of many. The first guest of the month, my baby brother, arrived in Florida late last night and will be staying with us until Friday (at which point I will cry and cry and probably collapse into a depressed heap (oh wait! No! I won’t have time for that because my dad and step mom will already be here!)).
I’ve decided that in an effort to spend time with him AND still maintain the blog (because God knows we can’t let the blog suffer because of family), I will be using his cuteness to provide me with content.
And I need your help.

Creed and I will be doing a video post for you all later this week, and I’d like you to provide me with the fodder.

Creed- You seem to have a very cool sister and an awesome mom, both very open minded people. However, when you bring/brought a girl home to meet them, did they welcome your girlfriends with open arms OR did they instantly go into Robert DeNiro mode from, well, any of his movies- but I was thinking more of his character from “Meet the parents.”

Why don’t/ didn’t you move to Florida with Britt?

Was Britt more of a sister or a 2nd mom in your eyes? I am going to guess she was more of a second mom-
So Britt, having two daughters, I find the older does seem to take on the 2nd mom role especially when I have a “mommy melt down” moment. Did you ever feel like you were the 2nd mom and if so, did you ever resent it?

Quick- you have to pick a movie that would best represent your family, what movie would that be?

No question here, but if you guys can get up to Blue Springs State Park tomorrow (Monday) they are expecting about 100 manatees to be in the springs. We went up today and saw between 30 and 40. There was a Mama and a calf. We also saw a big-ass gator but it was on the other side of the water…and the fence.

Was your name an advantage or a disadvantage at school?
