My birthday is this week, which means I’m going to do something completely different and dedicate all of my posts this week to ME!! YAY!
I’m not really sure what the hell that leaves me with after this meme.
Shamelessly hocked from Tense, which means it’s cool:
1. I have come to realize that my butt… is a safe haven for cottage cheese.
2. I have come to realize that when I talk… people take me more seriously than I expect. I typically assume people will know I’m full of shit.
3. I have come to realize that, if I love someone… the most loving thing I can do is support them in their ability to be Who They Are.
4. I have come to realize that I need… drugs. And time. And to be heard.
5. I have come to realize that I lost… my dignity, several YouTube videos ago.
6. I have come to realize that I hate it when… people confuse dignity with integrity and self respect.
7. I have come to realize that if I’m drunk… people will contribute my behavior to booze, instead of realizing I’m just as ridiculous sober.
8. I have come to realize that marriage… provides an endless supply of blog fodder.
9. I have come to realize that work… will always be part of Who I Am.
10. I have come to realize that I will always be… both loved and hated for being myself. And that’s OK.
11. I have come to realize that I like… my curly hair. Finally.
12. I have come to realize that crying… is good for the soul, but scares the shit out of some people.
13. I have come to realize that my cell phone is… what keeps me connected to home.
14. I have come to realize that when I wake up in the morning… I have about 30 seconds to decide what kind of day I’m going to have.
15. I have come to realize that before I go to sleep at night… I have to take a pill.
16. I have come to realize that right now I am thinking about… fifty things I’d like to do.
17. I have come to realize that babies… don’t stay babies for long.
18. I have come to realize that today… is all about choices.
19. I have come to realize that tonight… always comes faster than I want it to.
20. I have come to realize that tomorrow… is no guarantee.
21. I have come to realize that I really want to… be happy.
22. I have come to realize that working out… has no effect on cottage cheese.
23. I have come to realize that friends… don’t have to live next door to be important.
24. I have come to realize that the person who might repost this is… very, very desperate for blog fodder.

I have come to realize that your boobs bring glory and happiness to those around them.

I’m just glad you’re posting about yourself for once. :surrender:

I like #14 & #18… and I hope your choices are always positive…
January 14th, 2008 at 1:46 am
Geez, all this talk about cottage cheese…you are a little slip of a thing. What do you weigh, 92 pounds? Put you and me together and it’s totally a King Kong/Fay Raye situation. Well…if King King were hairless. And not a monkey. And…
Oh never mind. You’re gorgeous. And thin. Shut up.
January 14th, 2008 at 5:38 am
Well I certainly hope that your slave-driver of a boss will let you have an afternoon off for your birthday so you can go do something special just for you… like get a facial or something.
Helpful Hint: If Avitable offers to give you a facial, it’s probably best not to take him up on it… :yuck:
Hope your birthday is a happy one!

I have come to realize that Miss Britt…. is fucking awesome!

January 14th, 2008 at 8:36 am
So, you didn’t specify WHICH day this week is your birthday, so I will wish you one now.
On the pill thing; my mother is now an alien to me. I have never seen her “nice” before. Not that you are like her, but she is like, a TOTALLY different person since going on the prozac.
I like your curly hair too, and not in that way I wrote about on my blog today. But I do think it’s pretty. And isn’t it great to be okay with ourselves?

I have come to realize that bringing good news is more often reviled than welcomed, but I’ll risk it here… given our common goal of fighting evil (and cottage cheese): forgive me, but working out combined with good dietary choices absolutely takes out cottage cheese. *I* wouldn’t know this but for experiencing the intensity of the healthclub’s group workouts. They also have them at many of the YMCA’s. Check for 1 hr, group workouts with barbells, dumbells, medicine balls, etc. 3x/wk plus food changes = guaranteed. Love you.

avitable: especially when they are properly supported and concealed.
Peggy: I know! The egocentric focus here is really lacking!
Tori: meh, 50/50 probably. :-)
Mr. Fab: um, yes, exactly, I weigh 92 pounds. How did you guess?!
No matter what SIZE I am, I always have those little cottage cheese indents on my ass. And my thighs. And oh dear God is that cellulite on my fucking KNEE?!?!?
Dave2: actually, he won’t. He loves me and gives me a lot of freedom - but he’s also kind of a Nazi about wanting me to be here in the office all the time.
CMG: awwwww… thanks! As are you.
The Absurdist: Thursday, and yes, it is. It’s just too bad it takes so long to get to that place of being “OK”.
jflins: Oh that helps me to lose WEIGHT, but it doesn’t seem to have much effect on the cottage cheese ass. I know this through much trial and error. :-)
But no reviling here!!

Learn to love the cottage cheese. Try to remember that even seriously skinny girls have it, so someone who is exactly the perfect size (as you are) can hardly expect to escape it.
It’s just a symptom of aging. Your can stay tight enough to conceal the fat lurking just under it’s surface — that’s all it is.
And it’s not you, it’s me…

Funny what America thinks is so important these days. Today, “cottage cheese” is what gets the most attention on your post. (personally, I think you shine most in #6!) Last post, it seemed “breast reduction” was a more offensive comment than abortion on your voting blog .
Wow, I actually said it!!! not politically correct, I know.

Oh, so that was YOU I was watching on YouTube.

HAPPY Birthday WEEK!
January 14th, 2008 at 10:24 am
Momma, I was kidding - well, mostly ;)
BTW: my better half is a doll but she’s completely unsatisfied w/where she’s at. I’m thrilled with her. But whatever the future may bring, if she only knew the depth of the following truth, I think several issues would stop getting space in her head: ***passion***, by far, overcomes all… (This extends to the state of the body, the house, heck, the UNION).

You know, our family always drags birthdays out for a week. It’s good for the birthday person!
Happy Birthday week, Brittini!!!

January 14th, 2008 at 1:04 pm
Happy Birth Week!!!
“”23. I have come to realize that friends… don’t have to live next door to be important.”"
Such a great truth.
Smooch!

I have come to realize I will never be known as the world’s greatest husband. Even though I totally got Mrs. Y2K Bon Jovi tickets for her Bday. But the concert is not til April so I got her a bag of gag gifts for her party on the 30th. The gags include lil kids toys called “Bling,” a whoopie cushion so she can continue to compete in the marriage and a little book to help keep her interest up in bed… its a jumbo word search book. All packed in an “Over the Hill” bag. I can’t say how old she will be but there is at least one zero and a five involved.

Finn: LOL, nah, it’s me too!
Momma: #6 was kind of a favorite of mine too. ;-)
WendyB: I know - SHAMEFUL!
themuttprincess: thank you
jflins: passion is indeed a wonderful, if not fleeting, thing.
AmyD: yeah, I’m full of shit though. My birthday here is barely a day, let alone a week. But it gave me an excuse to post the meme.
hellohahanarf: aw sweetie, I’m glad you were born too.
DutchBitch: we’re like, ASS SISTERS!
turnbaby: yep. Even more so when you don’t have neighbors.
Y2k Survivor: I don’t know…. Bon Jovi tickets are pretty fucking awesome.
January 14th, 2008 at 8:17 pm
#23: so totally right!! and…also goes to prove that people can be from different generations (ouch!) and still be friends. Of course, in my mind I’m only 30-ish.
Re: #1: I have no butt, which only makes the rest of me look big.
January 14th, 2008 at 8:36 pm
You think I’m cool? Damn, I don’t think I paid attention to anything after that… Let me go try again.
January 14th, 2008 at 10:10 pm
Happy Birthday Week!
January 14th, 2008 at 10:39 pm
Hope you have a wonderful birthday week. Excellent points especially #10, #12, 14. 18, 21 & 23. You are a wise woman indeed. Sending you lots of birthday hugs!
January 15th, 2008 at 6:04 am
Mrs RW: and in my mind I’ve always felt “older” - so we’re perfect!
Tense Teacher: the coolest.
Fantastagirl: thank you.
Selma: wise on paper, at least. ;-)
