Blogging was made for bitching.
Whether it’s about slow drivers, unruly children, or spouses who can’t seem to pick up their own underwear, the blogosphere is constantly atwitter with our gripes. And while we would in no way suggest you stop bitching, once in a while it’s nice to stop and remember some of those people who makes us forget about the dirty underwear.
It is because of those people that Karen, Hilly and I decided to launch The RAP Sheet.
Out here in Blogaritaville, there are some Ridiculously Awesome People. People who touch us, who make us laugh, who make us want to reward them with a cutesy graphic. Those are the people we add to The RAP Sheet.
(read through to the end where I’ll tell you how you can play along!)
The first person I’d like to add to The RAP Sheet is… (crap! this is hard! there are so freaking many!)
Crystal. The fabulously awesome Crystal of Midnight Therapy and In Accord With The Surrealists.
It’s fitting that she would be my inaugural member of The Rap Sheet, because one of the things that makes Crystal so awesome is her desire that YOU know how awesome you are.
Yes, even you.
It’s like… her mission.
(It is also her mission to commune with St. Francis, but whatever.)
Behind her hilarious videos and flippant commentary on everything from pop music to her life as a MILF, there is this extraordinarily deep person. She’s shockingly kind and purposely loving. She selflessly shared so much of herself with me when I was quite obviously spiraling into a dark pit in front of you all.
Crystal is, without a doubt, one of those people you are better for having known. In an Internet that can be dark and nasty, she is a bright light of hotness and generosity.
In short, I want to be Crystal when I grow up.
And so should you.

Hooray!! What a worthy recipient. I first found Crystal on…oh, whatever that snarky review blog was. I can’t think of the name of it. And while I don’t read/watch her as regularly as I would like, I’m always, ALWAYS glad when I do!

This is SUCH an amazing awesome idea! There are so many really good bloggers out there who don’t get as much recognition as they should! I am definitely jumping on the band wagon and sending an email with the people who I think are deserving of a RAP “award” lol.
