There’s Nothing To See Here

by Miss Britt on December 14, 2007

This is, by far, the worst video to ever be put on the internet.

The quality is horrible. It’s filled with um’s and uh’s and senseless rambling.

It is ridiculously boring and of absolutely no interest to anyone.

Unless you happened to be at Allen Hospital in Waterloo, Iowa on December 14, 1999.

P.S. Happy Birthday Devin.

I really (REALLY) wanted to say that I watched this whole video and it was awesome, but I can’t.

Happy birthday, Devin! Now that you’re 8, I can teach you some awesome words, like cockmonkey and fucknut.

I watched it and I thought it was beautiful! Maybe you have to be a mama to understand?

No, you don’t have to be a mother to understand. I watched the video all the way through. By the end of the video, I think I was crying more than Britt. That was an awesomely beautiful video.

    Happy Birthday Devin!!

Oh baby I am sitting here crying my eyes out. I remember every single thing.

And NO Jared, Burt was NOT the second person to hold him – I was – only because I was nice enough not to shove you out of the way!!

Happy Birthday my beautiful baby, and happy birthday as a mommy, sweetheart. You guys have done so so so well.

Gabrielle is right, you obviously have to be a mom to get this. (or as my husband said after reading Adam’s lovely comment, “or human…” LOL)

Britt, this absolutely brought tears to my eyes. So sweet and so wonderful.

    Happy Birthday Devin!!! :heartbeat:

avitable: LOL, that’s OK – I warned you it was bad!

Gabrielle: really? maybe it is a mom thing!

Angel: well you have a soft heart. :heartbeat: thanks

Britt’s Mom: I’m so glad there’s someone else in the world I can share this with.

I mean, you know, besides Jared (because – seriously, LOL)

HoosierGirl5: yeah, he was. He wasn’t raised with the sentimental mushy traditions that I was raised with. Poor thing.

Dee: yeah I think Jared will pretty much be banned from giving speeches at weddings, graduations and such. LOL

    AmyD:

Mr. Fab: Aw, thank you! I think you secretly have a big mama soul somewhere in there.

Very great story. You did a great job, Jared too!

Most insightful thing I found out, your younger than I am, which really makes me more in awe of you than I was before. I’ve got a few years on you and there is no way in hell I’d pack up and move like you did. Or even handle it half as well as you have. :-)

Happy Birthday Devon, sorry to be late, I spent yesterday traveling.

Peggy : you know I have NO idea where she got it either. Come to think of it – all of our family traditions started with my mom.

Kristin: oh pshaw – you were there! that’s awesome auntiness!

RW: i reallllly need to get a flipping the bird icon.

hellohahanarf: i don’t know – adam didn’t cry, and he swears everyone is just saying they cried to be nice. LOL

Selma: yeah? I wonder if it had been better quality if it would have been moving still – or if it’s like the Blair Witch effect. LOL

    wafelenbak: thank you!

pnbzmom: Devin watched it and said “wait – you weren’t excited I was born?” LOL

Fogspinner: you’re not late – today is D Day. :-) I think having kids makes you older faster – or something.

    Hilly: thanks! you adulterous whore!

That’s awesome, Britt and Jared! Thanks for sharing Devin’s birth story with all of us. I’ll have to start this tradition with our kids. For the first time today, the twins looked at their baby albums and enjoyed it. So, I think they’re ready.

Love ya, hon! Happy 8th year of motherhood!

    themuttprincess: Devin continues his thanks!

Preposterous Ponderings: can you remember the details from each story? My mom kind of loses the spark on the third one. LOL

Dave2: yeah? lemme know how that goes for you!

Fantastagirl: Sartori wasn’t “sartori” anymore by that point – the only other option would be Covenant.

Turnbaby: did they survive in one piece?

Jen aka Evilynmo: thanks! feel free to steal it!

Coal Miner’s Granddaughter: YAY! my mom will be so excited! :-)

You have to promise me you’ll start it with “This is the story of the day you were born…”

LeapnLzrds:  well thanks, and hi! and stuff! :-)

It coulda used a little more of his Uncle Creed though  hahaha I love you Britter! And tell Jared I can’t wait to see HIM either! (He’s so adorable)

This is really sweet and I love it.

You do realize though that you look like the bubbly soccer mom married to a very quiet serial killer…

They were such a nice couple, she always had so much to say and wore great shoes and he, well he was a nice looking fellow, really quiet, we never thought he could be behind all the murders that happened here in Florida! :cheesy:

I tired to watch, but my lack of attention span kicked in. I may try again tomorrow. I must say though, that I was cracking up at your husband who looked completetly bored and a bit put off. How long did it take to drag him in front of the camera?

    Reply

  36. Miss Britt December 17, 2007 7:06 am

Gina: Really – don’t. It seriously doesn’t get any better! LOL

I didn’t have to drag him. Unfortunately. Watching it now I wish he would have just said No.
