Last Day On The Road

by Miss Britt on August 9, 2007

Thursday - Day 3 without the Internet.

Day 2 of The Trip.

And the day we, hopefully, are pulling into Florida!  I’m obviously writing this several days in advance so I can only hope that everything has gone according to plan and I will soon be enjoying the hospitality of Mr. and Mrs. Avitable in Orlando, Florida.

More specifically, me, my husband, my two young impressionable children, my best friend, and my brother with a mouth that won’t quit… will be enjoying the hospitality of Mr. and Mrs. Avitable.

I can’t decide who I should try to protect first.

Psst... thanks for stopping by! I hope I didn't traumatize you too badly on your first visit. Remember to subscribe to my RSS feed if you want updates from the site!

More Update: I heard from Miss Britt at about 9 pm CDT Wednesday night that they were safely ensconced in a hotel at the midway point. No accidents with the U-Haul - the cat hasn’t done anything disgusting enough to get thrown out - and apparently neither have the children or the little brother.

Jeez, I’m thinking about the little brother (my youngest son and Miss Britt Distilled and Concentrated, in a man-piggish sort of way)and Avi - tossing a coin here……

Britt, your mama misses you!!

They hit the road outside Nashville a few minutes ago, and unfortunately, Emma’s feeling a bit sick, but other than that, they’re doing fine. Should be here around 7-8 tonight.

The shoes. Protect the shoes. From there, the kids, the brother, the husband and then the cat.

Why, you’ve got to protect Avi, of course. Everybody knows kids are infectious.

I am a big fan of protection. Unless it’s treated with a spermicide. That kind smells gross.

Thats funny, I always thought of Avitable as being a single funny sexless male, and now I find out there is a MRS Avitable? Wow, I really need to read his blog more. Best of luck with the move.

What are you thinking?!?!?! You should probably be more concerned about protecting Avi from Emma. I swear, one day, that girl is going to rule the planet.

I’m with Amy and my money’s on Emma, who already DOES rule the planet - at least her part of it. :help:

@ Mom I fully expect Emma to just pack up and move back to Iowa on her own if she decides she doesn’t like Florida. Either that or I give her about 3 months to have her own nightclub. That girl is just too smart for her own good!
